This is a two-day course devoted to appropriate use of FT-IR spectrometers as well as different sampling accessories and sample preparation. The course will involve some lectures on different, important, spectrometer and accessory settings, as well as hands-on work with the spectrometers, accessories, and samples. Participants work in small groups to work with the different instruments. The groups will rotate between the instrument stations. The instructional staff will be working with the participants for the instrumentation sessions. Lunches are included with the course.
