The University of Strathclyde Technology & Innovation Centre
The Technology & Innovation Centre (TIC) is close to the city center at 99 George Street. All events for the course will be held in the TIC on the Executive Suite level. A spacious room is reserved for the lectures and workshops. Lunches and breaks will be served adjacent to the lecture room.
Travel to Glasgow
Electronic Travel Authiority (eTA) for the UK: The UK now requires an eTA from many countries, including the European Union. Please check if you need to apply for an eTA. The claim is that the approval process is complete within 24 hours, however, it is probably a good idea to apply early. The eTA is valid for six months.
Glasgow International Airport has flights to and from many destinations in the UK and Europe. Flights to other continents tend to be seasonal. The airport is less than 16 km (10 miles) from the city center. Transportation to the city is available by bus or taxi. There is a train to the city, but the closest station to the airport is approximately 2 km away.

Accommodations in Glasgow
There is a good number of hotels within walking distance of the Technology & Innovation Centre. A map of the area from the Glasgow Convention Bureau includes a list of local hotels and also shows the two main railway stations of Queen Street and Glasgow Central (both within walking distance of the TIC), and that map is linked here.
