Apartment Accommodation and Registration
Interpretation of Infrared and Raman Spectra
June 15-19, 2020 Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine
The course fee is $2700 for the course plus apartment accommodation for a couple or family of up to four people. Meals or the course banquet are not included. Apartments are specifically for one course registrant who wishes to bring a family member or partner who is not enrolled in the course. Apartment accommodation and registration for the participant includes all lectures, lecture notes, workshops, and workshop exercise materials. There is no accommodation for hearing-impaired participants, and if such assistance is needed the participant will have to provide his or her own assistance.
The apartments have four separate bedrooms, a common room, and a shared bathroom. There are no cooking facilities in the apartments, or even in the building, so meals will have to be found off campus, or meal plans may be purchased for an additional fee. Adult and child meal plans are available. The meal plans include the course lobster bake (banquet). If a participant or guest wishes to attend the course lobster bake without the meal plan, that is also an option. All course participants are encouraged to attend the lobster bake to meet other participants and the lecture staff.
The College requires us to ask for the names of all the apartment occupants, and the ages of those under 18 years of age.
The deadline for receipt of the formal registration and fee is June 1, 2020. Participants are urged, however, to submit their registrations well in advance of these dates to be assured that participation can be reserved. Space is limited in the course, and registration will be ended when the course is full.
There will be a $500 cancellation fee for any participant who withdraws from course before June 1, 2020. If a participant withdraws from a course on or after June 1, 2020, there will be a cancellation fee of $800.
